I swapped my FF3 factory fitted insturment cluster for C-max instrument cluster BM5T-10849-JS (HW: BM5T-14C226-BE, SW: BM5T-14C026-BL).
I want to update the firmware, but I have no idea where to look for the firmware files. Could you please give some direction?

If you want to get the red and yellow snowflake light just flash BU firmware. To get ST logo set #236 parameter of central config to 03 ST.

Could you tell which device do you use for firmware upload?
Baudrate?
Timeout in device advanced settings (see in "Device manager")?
Please attach the log if you have one. If you don't have any try again with logs enabled.
It is recommended to set 500k baudrate for ELM327 and 2M baudrate for ELS27, 1ms timeout in case FTDI uart bridge.

You need ELM327 with switch for MS-CAN bus, because IPC on Focus Mk3 is on MS-CAN.
The sequence is correct, but actually you don't need to update calibration if just want to add DDS and cruise.
It may be enabled on old fw versions. All you need is to change direct configuration in IPC and change central configuration in BCMi. Then for DDS you have to execute ABS initialization (still in FoCCCus).
But anyway your ELM327 must be with MS/HS-CAN switch, or you need STN1170-based tool, which has two can buses out of the box.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried with these two files, but they both failed with error "Error During Loading VBF", I'm not sure if it's because of the poor wire. My wire has a switch for MS/HS-CAN. and I have tried to edit BCM with HS-CAN, enabled "Auto Locking", it's working, also under MS-CAN, I uploaded two SBL files successfully. (BM5T-14C025-BD and BM5T-14C025-AD), but uploading BM5T-14C026-AAA and BM5T-14C026-AEA both failed. I can see in the status bar, when it's trying to "Loading Secondary Bootloader", then if failed immediately.
Kindly share any ideas or concerns, if we can confirm it's the wire issue, I will buy a ELS27 and try again.

Seems that your ELM327 is not stable or fast enough. Is it based on FTDI chip? If so, try to set timeout to 1 ms in device properties in device manager (default is 16 ms). And if it doesn't help, enable logs in FoCCCus and share here.

Yes Ittrium,
I'm using ELM327 with FTDI chip, and I have set the timeout to 1ms in device manager already, still got same issue. I captured the log, please help to check.

Seems that now it is not ELM327 related problem.
The problem is that your IPC doesn't accept the secondary bootloader to the address it is uploading.
Maybe your IPC is different and is not supported by FoCCCus yet.
I will check the right bootloader according to your log a bit later and will let you know.
