As i'm waiting for the steering wheel 45mm spacer to arrive..


i got the time to prepare the horn connection to make sure that's compatible with the ford focus steering hub boss kit..

As the short shifter for the ST225 costs about 100€ and its not compatible with my gear tower i decided to make one of my own.

The distance between 1st and 2nd gears was 12cm and now its 9! It works!!!

This is a 2012-2015 US ford focus short shift bracket that must fit our mtx75 5 speed gearbox. Reduces the distance between gears about 35%.
I will try it and give you some feedback of the installation and the result.

Aluminium shift extender 10cm (4 inch). Amazing!

Why? I think that vibration will intensify on the vehicle because this engine mount gets hard.

The reason is to avoid the annoying engine movement during acceleration or gearchanging. I already have one like this on my 2.0l Duratec and is amazing!
