Can anyone help??? I have been searching and searching and have NOT found a solution to get the steering wheel controls working on a MK3.5 Focus ST. I believe the original Sync head unit needs to be in there to decode, can anyone please confirm or help??? As per the picture

Hi All,
I cant seem to find this anywhere so sorry if missed.
Have a 2017 Sync 3 from Australia and are struggling to find steering wheel control unit for chinese radio. Has anyone had any success with with through Canbus or SW1/SW2 method?
Currently with Canbus connector only get AC information but NO steering wheel control
