Early sync 3 cars did use a simple gps antenna but if you look at newer 2017 focus it now uses a different aerial with built in gps.

dont worry i will not change the rack, im happy with the front sensors to just do what they do and protect the front from damage.

dazst250 if you have a real ST - you have a steering gear with varible rathio = APA do not exist for the ST from the factory for this reason - PSCM unable to calculate correct angles due to varible gear rathio in steering gear... So - there are no any stock software for you to alive APA

Thank you Texnik that's great info, I'm not going to go out of my way to get it working as I'd need to change the steering rack for a titanium X version? So I'm happy with how I have it at the moment with the allround sensors. They work perfectly many thanks.

been through that whole thread but nothing to help unfortunately? I have everything needed, I have the driver assist pack which already as the abs with direction fitted from factory, I also have the full wiring that I've had to fit from the front bumper to the dashboard and the extra 2 wires from the dash to the APA buttons.

Id love to get this fully working on mine? but I believe my ST has the wrong pcsm and it cannot be reprogrammed with the software from say a titaniumX?? I have every thing else working all the parking sensors, even the IPC has the Park Slot Found in the chimes section but when I press the park pilot button it just says Park Assist not available please see your manual??? not a malfunction though just a warning?

The RS brake conversion on my ST3 has made my car far better, the brakes are unbelievably good.

swapped out my previous fitted ford park assist on the front and put the VW Touran holders in.

Ive bought UCDS cable and activated and initialised the RCM and all working how it should, Ford wasn't too happy to do this in the UK has they was a bit sceptical if it would work or not!!

I think thats where its not right when i press initialise ecu its comes up with an error and doesnt allow me to finish it??

fitted all the part today apart from the jumper wire has there is no where for it to go??? I have 1 plug with 9 pins which only 2 populated pins 2-3 green and a yellow/grey.

ive plugged the passenger airbag deactivation switch in and the warning light in but its just coming up with 2 faults saying both are incompatible they are activated through focccus and ive cleared the faults with Forscan but they just come back???

the wiring is correct has ive checked on etis, its has though the Focccus software is not writing to the bcm and rcm properly

any help much appreciated

I think Universe and a couple of others had this problem and returned to the original sw to solve it, so I don't know if there is a solution to this or not??

Thank you, ive got it working to an extent, the buttons now work but it just comes up with park assist not available on the sync2 but if your driving and press it it says to slow down to find a parking space or if your reversing it says take out of reverse to find a space??

I think it is working but there's just something missing and I think it is just 1 wire that I don't know where it goes, pin 4 on the park assist just says wire CCA47 BU-WH goes to 42-3 vehicle dynamic system?? but I cannot access this or find a diagram of it anywhere on the internet
