Could you please look at this log? [ Mondeo4 2.5T end of 2007 (BCM type 7G9T, so quite normal) - using ELS27 (I checked with two laptops and both kind of drivres) I almost couldn't do anything, even reading or clearing DTC from any module was causing program hang-up or a pop-up window with info about timeout . I tried to read configuration from BCM, but I've got also an error in first block Then I connected with ELS to my SMax and FF2 and everything worked fine. What could be the reason? I could understand that BCM or PCM can be very specific (=not supported) in that Mondeo, but not EATC or ABS modules! Maybe stupid, but the only explanation I have so far is that there is some electric problem (damaged wires?) with OBD socket in that Mondeo.

Mlk, I have a S-max. When I change CCD in IPC or BCM nothing happens, the change doesnt take place, also after resetting, and I get lots of DTC's. Clearing the DTC's doesn't help, they come back. When I put back original CCD everething is oke. Can you help?

Romich811: It works!! I tried reading BCMii with ignition OFF and there is no checksum error Also writing BCMii is no problem with ignition off.

When I change something (locks) in BCMii, must I also change it in IPC? I did but a DTC in BCMii keeps coming up, also after clearing DTC's?

Info: S-max Tdci 2.0 from 2008 and ELM327 with switch for HScan and MScan

pgee OBDlink MX will work with only ELMConfig HS-CAN, on MS-CAN will not. But this is enough for BCM. Try.

OBDLink MX is expensive. Do you now another adapter (HS and MS)?

А если прошлый хозяин накрутил в модулях непонятно что, то скачать начальную конфу из As-Built, залить ее и потом уже включать-выключать нужные опции.

Romich811, thanks for quick respons. You mean 'different' that BCM is different from CCD?

Help, hope somebody reads English. With MSConfig (ELM327) at the end of reading BCMii I get "VBF downloaden checksum error". IPC reads fine.
What am I doing wrong?
