Could you please look at this log? [ Mondeo4 2.5T end of 2007 (BCM type 7G9T, so quite normal) - using ELS27 (I checked with two laptops and both kind of drivres) I almost couldn't do anything, even reading or clearing DTC from any module was causing program hang-up or a pop-up window with info about timeout . I tried to read configuration from BCM, but I've got also an error in first block Then I connected with ELS to my SMax and FF2 and everything worked fine. What could be the reason? I could understand that BCM or PCM can be very specific (=not supported) in that Mondeo, but not EATC or ABS modules! Maybe stupid, but the only explanation I have so far is that there is some electric problem (damaged wires?) with OBD socket in that Mondeo. |

Rimich811, 'Perhaps errors occur during data transfer' , do I have to do something before reading? I read things like 'put gear in reverse' and 'climate on'. Maybe change USB speed (I used 500000)? |

pgee OBDlink MX will work with only ELMConfig HS-CAN, on MS-CAN will not. But this is enough for BCM. Try. |

pgee The high probability of errors during data transfer. Try changing the speed or take a different adapter. Timonych Для этого достаточно только поставить соответствующую галочку в RCM. А если прошлый хозяин накрутил в модулях непонятно что, то скачать начальную конфу из As-Built, залить ее и потом уже включать-выключать нужные опции. |

pgee At the end of the read program compares cheksum read the file and that gives the module BCM, if they are different - the error is "VBF downloaden checksum error". Perhaps errors occur during data transfer. |
