Hi to Everyone in The Forum.
I am writing from Italy.
I am trying to install the Chip to install any camera on 5" Display.
I have a Focus SW and I tried to connect the chip in the Gray/Red connector in the trunk where it should be connected the Original RVC MODULE from Ford, and not cutting the cables in the passenger feet.
I can show the connection if needed.
It seems that the installation is successful because in Engineering Menu now it appears that RVC IS CONNECTED (before it was DISCONNECTED) and the REAR CAMERA IS AVAILABLE (before it was set to NONE).
I then enabled the Camera Option in Central Configuration.
I still do not have a final camera to install and I was thinking to make a test with an old photocamera set in video mode in NTSC.
This camera has a resolution of 640x480.
When putting Reverse Gear I get No Image on the screen, it just remain in Radio Mode.
I have Rear Parking Sensors installed after buying the car.
The sensors was installed by Ford Dealer using a cable (ParkView from Paser) to enable the Park Pilot Display.
After enabling the camera now it does not appear the Park Pilot anymore.
I was thinking it was good because the car was waiting to show Camera Image.
Can it be that because the resolution of the camera that I used is 640x480 instead of 720x480 the system does not accept to start?
