So they should be the identical Files, even if you open it they will match.

Maybe there is an older model with a 4" display, i think i saw it on a Youtube video and was surprised why they had about sync 3, but i am not really sure.

I just can guess that the JL7T is for 4" and the JL1T for 8".
Otherwise i would tap on it that the "A" is 8" and the "B" is 4".

Because the factory v2.3 SYSTEM install at 8" were always with the JL1T, when all other packages were with JL7T.

How to get 3.2 installed?
Everything i tried wasn't worked and even they release some more 3.0, the main part of it is from 2015 and just a few changes were made since then.

I already searched about to use FORScan to activate the mph speedometer but until now i didn't found the solution.
Didn't tought that it will be the same with the Sync 3.

Yes now i realised it, the thing where i got confused was, that i didn't know, that you have to choose the Language with FORScan to get the US English.

If i understand this, the System Voice is only needed if you wanna speak with your car?

You are right, i went into the Settings and would change the System Language.
Right now i proved this to be sure before i answer you.

But when it is like this, why are much more System Voice Languages available than you could choose as System Voice?
For example, there is Arabic in the System Voice, but you wont be able to choose an Arabic System Language.
There are just 14 Languages avaiable but you will have System Voice Files for 24 Languages avaiable.
And in my Sync 3, i can just find the "English UK".

So i am curious about, because Ford is a US Company and the US Americans shouldn't be able to use "English US"?

I hope you know what i mean, or do i overlook someting?

I know, you does know much more than i, but are you really sure?
Because i did the following steps with the System Voice

Original 2.3 updatet to 3.2 1U5T-14G391-AH (EU) // Languages didn't changed
Then i installed 1U5T-14G391-DH (EU) with US English // I could still not choose US English
Also i flashed 1U5T-14G391-CH (US) // Which just integrates 3 Languages, US English, French, Spanish
IVSU Versions says also v3.2 1U5T-14G391-CH

But i do still can choose ONLY the languages, which were in the v2.3 (JL7T-14G391-AB) integratet.
I also never got the US English or the Arabic which should be in the v3.2 Standard EU Package.

Do you have any hints how to prove or solve this?

omg, they also will be stored if you install several Language Packs?

I tried at least 3 different ones and i was wondering why the sync startet to lag.
Thought it was because i tried after each one the System 3.2.

I saw a picture which should come from an Italian Forum and they cold install the 3.2.
It was just written that he did someting with the language files, so i tried different ones now.

And also my clock isnt able to adjust anymore, always the time will fall back, i wanna try to do a factory reset, but how should i delete this files without the 3.2 system which probably could handle this the rigth way..

Is it possible that alse the System Voice Pack v3.2 will install parallel to the v2.3 / v3.0?

I already had a System Voice v3.2 EU and now i tried to install the v3.2 System Voice US which just contains ENU,FRC,SPM as Language.
But after i reboot my Sync i still do have all the European Languages installed and wont be able to choose the American English.

So it seems that all v3.2 Packages will be installed parallel to the other Versions.
Can this someone confirm?

I am really not sure but i have read that something is wrong with this 4 device options at the picture above.
Someone found out that this must be an old list and maybe you dont need anymore a ASIX Adapter.
I am not sure where i have read this but it was about the same problem and they found the solution with anoter chip i guess.

Do you know if the Linksys USB3GIG would work?
It yould be fine to have a USB 3.0 because so you can use it also for other things.

BTW, i still hope that we can change the Partition Table to make it possibly to install Sync 3.2.
The main parts of the 3.0 should be from 2015 if its true what they found out in another Forum.

Focccccus Hi, 386 and 387 packages are "Utilities". They usually contains shell script. The one you shared are (as you said too) packed in the complete packages but unluckily noone of them 'clean' the system from an .img file. (Some clean from .tar.gz packges but only under certain circumstances, the gracenotes cleaner script instead is 'direct'... start, clean the img.. job done.

I have read that the wrong files can break the Sync because some should only be for the US.

froligor Hi Froligor, yes, img file from version 3.2 is probably again on your system... i don't know what happen if from 3.2 nav voice you return back to 3.0, but i'm pretty sure 3.2 remain on the system, and unluckily there is no way to remove it currently (unless you gain root access,) There are some utilities from ford to remove .img files from the System. For example GB5T-14G386-SC_88394 remove gracenotes.img.. i'm sure there some others that do the same for maps, system voice and nav voice. I made some scan but found nothing...

Are maybe the "14G386" Files to delete some stuff?
I do have more from these Files, maybe you can find out what the will delete?
